Two of the country’s top-caliber artists — Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas — shared one big screen together in Star Cinema’s 16th year anniversary offering “Best Friends Forever.”
This funny movie will be the first tandem of Sharon and Ai-Ai in time for Mother’s Day next month.
Sharon will play a housewife while Ai-Ai play a gym instructor role. As Ai-Ai helps Sharon reduced her weight, the two develops a friendship that they equate to forever.
But Sharon’s husband John Estrada will be attracted to Ai-Ai, who is unaware of John and Sharon’s marriage. The conflict starts as Sharon learn about the affair of Ai-Ai and John.
Viewers can expect numerous hilarious word war between Sharon and Ai-Ai. Some of their punch lines play up their physical features, like Sharon’s weight and Ai-Ai’s notorious chin.
